2000 chevy truck transmission not working properly?

2000 chevy 3/4 ton 4x4 with a 4l80e transmision. when its in overdrive or 3rd gear on a straight away, sounds like a stick shift tranny that needs to down shift causes noise and vibration, let off the gas and reapply iy the truck goes on as normal untill it does it again. i changed fluid and filter along with shift solenoids. 110,000 miles on truck, should i just rebuild it? or could it be the torgue converter going bad??????????

Could be a pcm issue, speed sensor issue or a few other things. Did you scan the comp for codes? Did you adjust the bands?
