Are the other world powers letting the US fight in the Mid East alone as a way to bleed the US of power?

No other countries seem all that excited that Islamic extremest jihadis want to establish a "Pan Islamic caliphate" across the Middle East, or rather, a radical islamic empire stretching from Morrocco to Indonesia. The other world powers are not helping the US, they're making the US do it all on its own. Is this a strategy to let the US bleed itself until it is powerless, and then Russia, China, and the EU will be left to dominate the world?

Best Answer:

This is the result of Bush's poor diplomacy when it came to our allies. He had a go it alone mentality from the start (his words said one thing, his actions quite another) and now we are forced to go it alone. He broke it, he bought it.

No, it's just that nobody is as susceptible to propaganda about non-existent "Islamic extremists jihadis" taking over the world as you are.

No. They warned Bush ahead a time that he was on his own. In return O'Relly wanted to boycott France and a senator wanted to coin the term "freedom fries". Arrogance at it's apex.

Umm, none of those countries believed the U.S should fight in Iraq in the first place. This is all on Bush, dear, don't even try to blame other countries.

You are on the right track. Except it is worse than that. It is our own Government who wants to bankrupt us, to make way for the North American Union between Mexico, Canada and the U.S.. Google New World Order and North American Union, you will find more answers.

No I don't think France,UK,or most of Europe and Australia want us to bleed to death. Possibly Russia though I think Bush made a huge error in not listening to his major allies and the United Nations. America does not own the world and we should minded our own damn business , but instead we waste billions of dollars to this war that Will NEVER BE WON. The best thing BUsh can do now is pull out and admit he made a huge mistake and spend the next two years fixing public schools and medicare

That's something to think about, however, I believe it's just a case of the rest of the world feeling we're in Iraq for all the wrong reasons. As to our being in it all alone, that was our governments decision.

the EU dominate the world, they are the first ones to get gobled up by the russian bear.

That's an interesting thought, but I don't believe it to be true. For all practical purposes, the Islamic terrorists have already defeated France and Spain - and these countries don't even know it yet - but they will. The radical Islamic agenda is a threat to all civilized nations - perhaps the United States and their true allies are their last hurdle.

Canadians have died in the so called "war on terrorism" in Afghanistan. Actually, 42 so far and some were killed by American "friendly fire". As far as that hornet's nest in Iraq, you should be on your own. It had nothing to do with 9/11 (don't care what Cheney says) and the only countries excluding Britain and Australia that joined this "coalition of the willing" had to be brow beaten to join. The USA started the Iraq war, made a mess of everything there and are responsible for more Iraqis dying than Saddam. This is not your proudest moment!!
