solnishka - 2007-07-05 09:43:03 - Pregnancy
i know people say that count when your most fertile days are, but i just had a baby a month ago and not breastfeeding and still didnt get my period so i dont know when my fertile days are. and i dont believe in protection, its like God is tryna give you beautiful children and its like youre rejecting them. also i know i could wait till my next period but me and my husband cant wait that long we already waited long enough :)
Best Answer:
The only sure thing is to not even party in the sheets. I have several friends who were born due to the "rhythm method".

Key word...protection. If you don't use SOMETHING, you will get pregnant. Condoms, birth control pills, birth control shots, the Nuvaring, an IUD...you have to use something. If it was so easy to just use nothing and still not get pregnant, no one would ever buy condoms or birth control.

You simply do not have sex.
If you don't plan on using protection because you think it's against God's plan, why are you asking how to prevent the blessing?

Either total abstinence OR tracking your ovulatory patterns and refraining from sex during your fertile time each month.

Become a homosexual. But you still need protection for that too to avoid STDs.
You're screwed either way. Use protection.
(remember, protection isn't just condoms, could also be spermicide, birth control pills, diaphram, ect).

Self gratification. Works every time. An Irish lady asked the local priest about contraception, he was horrified but said Why don't you use the rhythm method apparently it works. Ah father replied the lady " Where would I get a ceili-band at 11 o'clock at night

If you have intercourse and don't use a form of reliable birth control, you will very likely get pregnant. Avoiding sex during the most fertile times of the month will decrease the likelihood, but that's not very reliable and you'll still probably get pregnant eventually.
Of course there are sexual activities other than intercourse, such as oral sex and touching, that won't get you pregnant (although you could still get an STD).
And there are lots of forms of birth control (condoms, the pill, the patch, Depo Provera shots, diaphrams) so it should be possible to find a method that will work for you no matter what your situation is.

Abstinence. 100%
Pills, Depo shot. 97%
Rhythm method, but it is very ineffective about 50% chance you'll get pregnant.

You can start using oral contraception - or have and IUD inserted only this is recommended for women who have had one child at least. These are the most common - there are others but you should consult your doctor or gynecologist first to see which one suits you best. However I feel I should warn you condoms or rubbers protect you against some very nasty diseases so I would think twice about having unprotected sex especially if you do not have more than sex with more than one guy.

really if you are asking this question, you shouldn't be having sex. do some reading and learn about your bodies.

First of all.....I was always told that there is no such thing as a stupid question, but this one comes awfully close.......
Obviously, there is no way to prevent it without using protection.
Besides...
prevent = to keep from occurring
reject = to refuse to allow
I believe they are basically the same thing right?
So why not use protection if God truly wants you to be pregnant, birth control won't stand in His way. Women have gotten pregnant using birth control. If God wants to give you a child, He'll give you a child.
