He was an ABC News correspondant until his retirement.I just heard he died in a ski accident at the age of 61.He was a real professional--RIP.

I sure do remember John McWethy from back in the Peter Jennings days. He was one of the best reporters ever. I did not realize he had been killed accidentally. I will sure miss him. He was a good man,his reports were concise and to the point. He did not ramble and he never stumbled when giving a report. My condolences to his family and friends. Walter C.
